Wishing Everyone a happy and healthy 2022!
As we move into year 3 of this alternative lifestyle, I am making some changes that I hope will have a positive effect, and I invite you to join me. Pandemic winters have been especially traumatic, and the loss of or separation from many friends and family members has only increased feelings of sadness, loneliness, apprehension and dread.
Since 2015, I have been researching diy ways to improve resilience and reduce stress that are easy, effective, and proven scientifically. The result is a circuit of executive function practices that I call the Funk Sessions. My dream is to enjoy these in group classes with funky/empowering/relaxing/inspiring music but for now I will share here. If anyone would like to make additions or suggestions feel free!
Funk Session 1 focuses on balancing techniques to either raise your energy level or reduce stress if overly anxious or excited. They are great first thing in the morning or at bedtime. Do not do these while driving π Enjoy!
