Let them breathe

Trash was all over the square this morning and people were still partying until 4am. So of course there is talk about how horrible ‘those people’ are that just left the place looking like this. But hello did anyone die? Did windows get broken or stores get looted? Did the national guard need to be called in? Were major weapons on display? NO. Instead it looks like my dorm or many frat houses every Sunday! Or the same square after our team won the Super Bowl! Or hello St Patrick’s weekend! Q—How much partying would we have done in our twenties if we had to cramp down with our parents for 3 months!!! Like Al Sharpton said can y’all just get your knee off our necks and let people breathe?! Jeesh
